____________________________________________________________________

On this 1st day of March, 2005 Ivan MacDonald is duly inducted as the initial member of the Dallas Bladerunner Hockey Hall of Fame.

Ivan has been a teammate/friend since 1993. He is headed back to the swamps of Louisiana so he can be closer to his first and true love, Louisiana State University.

Better known for his personal commitment to the TEAM than having the heavy shot or blazing speed. Ivan was an integral part of the great Bladerunner teams who won seven Championships.

 You will be missed friend!

#28 Ivan MacDonald - Class of 2005 Hall of Fame

Official Retirement Papers

Received Feb. 14th 2005

I wanted to inform you my run with the Bladerunners is about over. I have been offered an opportunity back home in Baton Rouge I simply cannot walk away from and Susan and I have decided to move to Baton Rouge. I am going to miss the team more then anything else however like Sanjay I hope I am included in all the emails and of course parties, I am only a $120 flight away and of course maybe a Bladerunner New Orleans trip could be in our future.

But anyway I wanted to let you know I will be moving by Mid March so I only got about 4 more games left really sucks this part because Hockey and the team was pretty important to me.

Anyway man, wanted to let you know… I will miss the lockerroom banter and hopefully next year I can make Vegas and of course since I will be in the email chain (hopefully) I can make some of the parties as well.

I found a place to play in Louisiana believe it or not, and judging from the talent level I will be like Tim out there….. But its ice and I will take anything I can get.

Anyway man, I wanted to thank you for sticking with me as a teammate although at times on the ice I was less then stellar. It has been a fantastic 12 years with the Runners.

Talk to you soon.
