CHAMPIONS!
The Finals are in the books
and the Bladerunners are back on top with another Championship. Game three was a
great game between to very evenly matched team but Chris Young was the
difference in the win stopping 27 of 29 shots faced which included a 5-3 power
play for Motive the last two minutes of the game. Kevin Labbe had a goal &
assist, Mark Spear had a goal and Marc Masefield had the game winner. The team was
without Mark Rubin (stubbed toe), Ivan MacDonald, Dan Lowry, Ryan Datson (Flu)
and Matt Wade (MIA). With the win the Bladerunners will now play in the
Metroplex Championship June 14th in Farmers Branch against the winner of the
Plano division.
The Farmers Branch team had an up & down first half of the season but
finished the season on an incredible run going 14-1-1 including 4-1 in
the playoffs.
