»Jan 21 SHORT. The Farmers Branch lost their 3rd straight game on Sunday night in a very uninspiring effort against the one win Parker Patriots. After going down early the team had a three minute stretch late in the 2nd period where they played to their potential to bring the game within one goal and going on to tie it in the 3rd. With just 1.2 seconds remaining in the 3rd the backend made a mistake that would cost the Bladerunners the game. Final score 8-7. Matt Wade (Torn Uterus), Dan Hammans (dont ask, dont tell) and Dan Lowry (backpacking).
»Jan 20 CHANNEL 4 (OLD) NEWS. The Plano team played their best game of the season on Monday night in a 9-2 beating of Channel 4 News. Rick Davidson had the game winning goal on a BLAST from the blueline. Kevin Labbe had a hat trick, Mark Rubin had a three point night and Blake Schwalls chipped in two goals. The team was without starting goaltender Tom Dodge who is listed as day to day after a tennis lesson injury. (Team fine is pending) John Hendrecks stepped in and stopped 27 of 29 shots faced.
»Dec 9 ALMOST. The Plano team played their second game in as many nights and again played stong against league leading Locomotiv. They lead the game for 44:46 of 45:00 but with 14.9 clicks left on the clock and their net empty Locomotiv tied the game forced overtime and a shootout. Locomotiv won in the shootout 1-0.
»Dec 7 SHOOTOUT! The Farmers Branch team built an early lead only to watch it evaporate with just over a minute to go when Hockey Shop tied the game forcing overtime, nothing was decided in overtime so to the shootout it went. Rick Davidson scored the only goal in the shootout and goalie Chris Young made it hold up 1-0 for a final score of 5-4. Randy Passasamich had a strong night on the blueline and added a goal an assist. Tim Russell and Kevin Labbe each had three point nights. The team was without Mark Rubin (Yeast infection), Matt Wade (Torn Uterus), Jeff Maddox (Bent Nipple), Dan Hammans (dont ask, dont tell) Derick Schaefer (Fractured Falliopian Tube), Mark Phillips (Love Bug).
»Dec 3 BUCK OFF! The Plano team again found themselves in a hole against the Bucks but this time the outcome was different, down 6-3 going into the third period the team fought their way back into the game behind a hit-trick from Johnny Cardillo to win 7-6. Mark Spear, Cory Fox, Matt Lawerence and Brad Mason all had goals in the win. The team was without 1/3 of the "Chemistry" line Blake Schwalls who was sent down to the minors for a one game conditioning assignment.
»Nov 28 WILD TURKEY SHOOT! The Farmers Branch played their last game before the Thanksgiving break and had their Wild Turkey a little early, beating Wild Turkey 8-5.
»Nov 19 FREIGHT TRAIN! The Plano team came out strong and was off to an early 1-0 lead but that was all the offense the team could produce. Locomotive scored five unanswered goals to take the game 5-1. The team was without 1/3 of the "Chemistry" line Blake Schwalls who was sent down to the minors for a one game conditioning assignment.
»Nov 12 KING OF QUEENS! The Plano team dominated the Kings on Monday night in a lopsided matchup, final score 11-3. The team was without the mouth of the south Mark Rubin (torn uterus), Tom McLellan (world tour), and Gren Lewis (went to the wrong rink).
»Nov 11 B.Y.O.B=W! The Farmers Branch team looked to bounce back after an ugly loss to the Flatliners and did just that. In a tight contest and a great game Sunday night the Bladerunners came away with a 4-3 win over B.Y.O.B on goals from Marc Masefield, Rick Davidson, Mark Spear and Tim Russell. The team was again without Mark Rubin (torn uterus...AGAIN), Mark Phillips (fractured labia), Derick Schaefer (bent fallopian tube), Dan Lowry (who f'n knows), Matt Wade (finger) and Kevin Labbe (SARS).
»Nov 5 SHOOTOUT. The Plano team dominated most of a scrappy 30 penalty game that saw Gren Lewis ejected for fighting, helmets smashed on the ice, helmets thrown in the stands and a blown out knee. The game went to overtime and eventually to a shootout which the Bladerunners lost 2-1 for a final score of 3-2.
»Nov 4 UGLY! The Farmers Branch team took a beating at the hands of the Flatliners as a result of players not showing up. The team was without Mark Rubin (torn uterus...AGAIN), Mark Phillips (fractured labia), Tim Russell (yeast infection), Dan Hammans (I dont dare say), Mark Spear (bent fallopian tube), Dan Lowry (who f'n knows), Matt Wade (finger) and Kevin Labbe (SARS).
»Sept 15 LATE SEASON PUSH! After starting the season 1-7 the Farmers Branch team bounced back down the stretch going 9-3 to finish the season at .500 with a 10-10 record.
»Sept 15 John Sanborn announced he has played his last game as a Bladerunner. Johns leaves as one of the best D men along with Greg Doty to ever wear a Bladerunner jersey.
»Aug 10 Greg Doty#17 announced he will be leaving the team and moving to Houston to pursue a career opportunity. Greg joined the Bladerunners in 2001, he has been one of the best defensemen to wear the Bladerunner jersey and leaves with several Championships under his belt. The Bladerunners wish him the best of luck. Greg will play his last game as a Bladerunner Tuesday August 7th.

Farmers Branch, Texas–CON JOB! After seven straight losses the Bladerunners turned to their former captain for help Saturday night and it turned out to be just what the doctor ordered. Conrad Bryan scored four of the five total goals scored including a natural hat trick en route to a 5-4 victory over the Willies. The team is right back at it Sunday night at 8:00 against the Fist Keepers. Click here to hear live locker room feed after the 7th consecutive loss.

»Mar 15 Las Vegas, NV. The Bladerunners took their show on the road for the first time in their storied history and did it in style bringing home the hardware. The team outscored their opponents 27-6 in the three games. In the championship game the Bladerunners were up 10-2 with 9:32 to go in the third period when the Chicago goalie walked off the ice causing the team to forfeit and handing the Bladerunners their first Las Vegas championship in their first trip. Mark Phillips was named tourney MVP after scoring a hat trick and adding two assists in the title game. Click here to read more.
